My dear son, William Anthony Hill, Jr. died Friday, September 25, 2015. William (Will) left this world at the early age of 24 years from injuries sustained in an auto accident. He was changing a tire on the side of 820, between Arlington and Fort Worth, TX when a pickup truck struck his vehicle, causing initial injuries. A second vehicle struck Will and left the scene.
Will had a quick smile and unmatched sense of humor. He was the life of the party, even if there was no party planned. Will was well rounded and well-read and enjoyed a lively discussion on a broad range of topics, which served him well in his career. Many are saddened by his passing. Although he will be missed, he was an unforgettable young man.
William is survived by me, his mother, Adriane I. Harris, and his loving sister, Rhiannon I. Hill. He’s also survived by his beloved aunt and uncle, Sandy and Joe DeLeon; admired cousins Cherie O’Donnell and James Dorsett; my boyfriend and his esteemed friend, Gary F Schmidt Jr; cherished paternal grandparents, Bill and Linda Hill; great –grandmother, Alleta Loehr; adoring girlfriend, Kathryn Fleming and numerous valued cousins, aunts, uncles and countless, treasured friends.
Services will be held at 2 p.m., Wednesday, September 30th, at the Moore Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, at 1219 N. Davis Drive, Arlington, Texas 76012. Ryan Inlow of Pleasant Ridge Church of Christ will officiate. Burial will be in the Moore Memorial Gardens and serving as pallbearers will be Dustin Jones, Justin Freeman, Daniel McMullin, Curtis Bennett, Esteban Aragonez, and Gary F Schmidt Jr.
