

Bill was born in Lost Creek, West Virginia on April 25, 1927, and graduated from Lost Creek High School in 1945. After graduation he enlisted in the military. He served as a Corporal in the Army Air Force from 1945-1947. Following Cryptographic School, he served on Guam as a Control Tower Operator at Harmon Field.
He attended West Virginia University from 1947-1951. He was a member of the Alpha Kappa Chapter of the Alpha Sigma Phi Fraternity. He was elected Senior Man at WVU in 1950.
After college, Bill began working for American Airlines in Dayton, Ohio in 1951 and transferred to New York in 1961. Bill was an active member at his Churches, often functioning as Head of the Administrative Board and Finance Committees. He would work for American Airlines for 41 years, retiring from the Dallas Fort Worth Headquarters in 1992.

Stout II and wife Amber of New Braunfels, TX; Granddaughter Samantha M. Etheridge and husband Marshel of San Antonio, TX; Grandson, Brandon R. Sheppard of Oklahoma City, OK; Granddaughter, Natalie E. Sheppard of Danville, CA; Grandson, Alec D. Stout of Grapevine, TX; Grandson, Zachary S. Stout of Grapevine, TX; Granddaughter Katarina E. Stout of Grapevine, TX; Great-grandson Phoenix D. Stout of New Braunfels, TX; Great-Granddaughter Rhylee K. Stout of New Braunfels, TX; and many dear friends in New York and Texas.
