Zenaida Galvez Sanchez August 7, 1951-July 30, 2022. Zenaida Galvez Sanchez, 70, passed away Saturday, July 30, 2022 in her home in Grand Prairie, TX. Her memorial service, where flowers can be sent, will be Tuesday, August 9, at 10:00 am (Chapel) and 11:00 am (Graveside) at Moore Funeral Home located at 1219 N. Davis Dr., Arlington, TX 76012.
Zenaida obtained her Bachelors’ degree and was a teacher in the Philippines. While in the United States, she worked in various roles in Grand Prairie ISD and was employed by the Texas Rangers for many years.
Zenaida was strong in her Catholic faith and enjoyed serving others. She was very involved in her Prayer Group and loved spending time with her beloved friends.
Zenaida is preceded in death, by father Pedro Espiritu Galvez and mother Asuncion Cayabyab Vidal. She is survived by daughter Deidre Tjernlund and son-in-law Jay Tjernlund of Irving, TX.
Zenaida is survived by brother Pablo Vidal Galvez, children: Percival A. Galvez, Mona Lisa A. Galvez, Paul A. Galvez; sister Elizabeth Galvez Telan (deceased), children: Violeta Telan Matas, Julie Telan Huberit, Rosita Galvez Telan, Fernando Galvez Telan, Imelda Telan Geraldino (deceased), Ricardo Galvez Telan (deceased), Romero Galvez Telan; sister Josephine Galvez Gan (deceased), children: Ehmee Rose Galvez Gan, Edward Galvez Gan (deceased), Elma Flor Galvez Gan, and Edwin Galvez Gan; sister Monica Galvez Aspera, children: Roel Galvez Aspera and Jean Galvez Aspera; brother Reynaldo Vidal Galvez, children: Lynette Palo Galvez and Shirley Palo Galvez.
