Bert, you will be missed!!! I’ve been a friend of the family’s since I was a child.  I will always remember all the times I had sleepovers with by best friend, your daughter Cassandra. You would often make us delicious jam filled muffins so we’d wake up to a great breakfast.  Growing up I spent so much time in your home and with your family and you were always kind to me and made me feel welcome, like I was part of your family. Thank you for those cherished memories! I can’t believe you’re gone, but the love, thoughts and memories of you will never be gone. 


Bert was my nephew. I am a sister to his dad, Rene.  I  haven't seen the family in 21 years. A call from my brother in California gave me the news. I  remember Bert as a happy child. My condolences to the family. 

I met Bert when I joined the Advantage IT team 11 years ago and he was always there to help from day 1.  He was always in a good mood and loved wearing his Hawaiian shirts.

Bert and I would talk football almost daily no matter what time of year it was.  We could be in the middle of a large project, picking each others brains on what to do and then next thing I know we would be talking football.  It always helped clear our minds so we could figure out a resolution to the issues we may run into during testing.

One thing that really stood out to me was his love for his family and friends.  I am truly blessed to have known Bert and will miss seeing him in the office and our football talks.
