Carole E. Mitchell

1949 - 2014

Lewiston- Carole E. Mitchell of Lewiston, unexpectedly went to be with the lord on October 27, 2014. Her daughters were with her when she passed into eternity.

Carole was born in Augusta on June 10, 1949 to Dorothy and William Fuller. She grew up in Litchfield and graduated from Monmouth Academy in 1967. She also went to nursing school.

She married Jonathan W. Mitchell, the love of her life, on October 4, 1970. They shared more than 38 years together. She dedicated her love and time raising her daughters in Litchfield. In recent years Gram-Gram has devoted most of her time to her beloved grandsons.

Carole loved to bake, read, do stitchery projects and handcrafts. She enjoyed the family summer outings to Orr's Island, Bailey's Island and the Portland Head Light. She also worked for several years as a teacher's helper at Lisbon Falls Christian Academy.

Carole is survived by daughters, Rachel Morin and Mary Mitchell and grandsons Stephan and Julien Morin, all of Lewiston.

FUNERAL NOTICE-

Mitchell, Carole E. of Lewiston died in Lewiston on Monday Oct. 27. At her request there will be no visitation. A celebration of Carole's life will be held on Saturday Nov. 1 at 11 AM at East Auburn Baptist Church.
