Claire Constance LaMore

Auburn-Claire LaMore, 82 of Auburn Maine passed away February 5, 2018 in Auburn Maine.Claire was born on December 3rd 1935 to Alphonse and Aurore Custeau. Claire was the youngest of seven children. Claire is predeceased in by her husband, and Only Love, Ernest, her parents Alphonse and Aurore, her brother's Gaston and Robert, her sisters Theresa Sevit, Madeline Fillion and Lucille Caron.

Claire is survived by her sister Mariette Adler of Auburn Maine, three children, Stephen and his wife Kathy, of Lewiston Maine, Kathy Aube and her husband Rick of Rochester New Hampshire and Lori Beaulieu and her fiancé David Dowdy of Jefferson Maine. Claire's grandchildren Daryl LaMore, Melanie LaMore Gagnon, Christopher Aube, Bryan Aube, Joshua Aube, Tiffany Lerette and Jessica Beaulieu, and 9 great-grandchildren.

Claire worked for Ratheon and retired from Etonic Shoe years ago, she then went on to volunteer at St Mary's Hospital for several years. She worked seasonally at JCPenney in the Auburn Mall until the onset of her illness. Claire loved children, she was an avid Knitter and she crocheted as well as sewing and repairing clothing for her family and friends. We are all very sad to lose her but we know she's back with the love of her life, her husband Ernie, until we meet again Mom, sis, Memere, we love you and know you'll be watching over us. Visitation Fortin Auburn Thursday February 8, from 2-4 & 6-8 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday February 9 at 9 AM at Sacred Heart Church.
