

Born on December 14, 1914, she was the daughter of Ovide W. Thibault and Yvonne Sirois. She was educated in local schools, graduating in 1933 from Lewiston High School. She married former Chief Justice Armand A. Dufresne, Jr. on October 5, 1939, who passed away April 19, 1994. She was a communicant of St. Peter and Paul parish holding membership in Ladies of Ste. Anne Sodality. She and her husband made their home on Sylvan Avenue in Lewiston, until 2000 when she moved to Montello Heights where she enjoyed her retirement years. She is survived by her three daughters, Louise Houde and husband Paul of Nashua, NH, Pauline Charest and husband Georges of Pelham, NH, Carmen Dufresne and husband Michael S. Dixon of Auburn; seven grandchildren: Peter Houde and his fiance, Betsey Abrahams, of Nashua, NH, James Houde and his wife, Jeannine of Merrimack, NH, Irene Houde of Brookline, MA, Adrian Charest and his wife, Abigail of Sudbury, MA, Andrea Charest and her partner, Michael MacDonald of Park City, Utah, and Renee and Marie Dufresne-Dixon of Auburn; seven great-grandchildren: Rebekkah, Grace, Madelyn, and Michael Houde, Jordan and Joshua Houde, Colette Charest, and a sister, Simone Caron, of Corvallis, Oregon.
