Auburn- Constance J. Michaud 76, of Broad St. Auburn died Saturday Nov. 20, at her home with her loving family at her side after a long courageous battle with cancer. Connie was born in Lewiston on May 22, 1945. She was educated in local schools. Connie was a very hard worker and worked long hours to help raise her family, she cleaned homes and offices for several years.

Connie was a very active member at Faith Baptist Church in Auburn and loved her church family and was a servant of our lord. She lived to serve others especially her family , her greatest joy was sending time with her children and grand children. She volunteered for many years at the Dempsey Center, and participated in the last 7 Dempsey Challenges.

She is survived by her five children: Jamie Michaud of Auburn, Pam Reed and her husband Dan of Bass Harbor, Phil Michaud and wife Lisa of Turner, Brian Michaud and wife Jessica of Buckfield and Carolyn McGinley and her husband John of Auburn, her six siblings Carmen, Danny, Sandy, Andy, Mike and Frances, Her 12 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and her best friend Charlotte Haskell. She was predeceased by a daughter Amy Michaud, a granddaughter Gabriella McGinley and her siblings Donald, Maggie, Romee, Maurice, Claude and Bert.

Visitation Fortin Auburn Tuesday Nov. 23 from 4-7 PM. Funeral services will be held at a later date at Faith Baptist Church in Auburn. Donations can be made to The Dempsey Center 29 Lowell St., 5th floor Lewiston, Me 04240 or Faith Baptist Church 43 Washington St. N. Auburn, ME 04210. Arrangements are under the care of The Fortin Group Funeral Homes 217 Turner St. Auburn 783-8545.
