1963 - 2021
Lewiston- Daniel James Guptill, 58, a resident of Lewiston, passed away suddenly in his home on Monday November 1st. He was born May 22, 1963 to the late Elliott and Irene Guptill. After finishing high school Daniel joined the US Army in 1982 as a combat engineer, serving four years, returning in 1986. Upon his return he worked for Procter & Gamble Tambrands as a manager.
Daniel was at his best when he was outdoors, he loved boating, fishing, and being on his motorcycle. He also loved, what some might call his midlife crisis purchase, his prized Corvette. After a long day he also like to unwind with video games.
Daniel is survived by his four sisters, Dee Gagnon and her husband Gerard of Buckfield, Teresa Guptill of AZ, Ruby Knight and her husband Bill of Greene, Bobbie-Jo Castillo and her husband Ludy of Utah, and one brother Ed Guptill and wife Jill of Utah, many nieces and nephews, and his dog Dax.
