Dorothy Bazinet Nelson

Born in Lewiston, September 1st 1948 a daughter of the late Joseph and Priscilla Gagne Bazinet, she graduated from Lewiston High School in 1966.

Dot enjoyed going to the ocean, especially Old Orchard Beach, spending time with family, reading and watching the birds. She will be remembered for her love of animals. She had recently acquired a new kitten that brought her joy.

She is survived by her husband Robert (Bob) Nelson of Tolland, CT whom she married May 5, 2011

her children, Steve Coffren and his partner Kelly Strout of Oakfield, ME, Robert Frechette and his wife Stephanie of Lewiston, ME, Dianna Frechette Higgins and her husband Justin of Litchfield, ME,

6 grandchildren, her sisters, Monique Breault and husband Simeon of Brunswick, ME, Pauline Dube of Augusta, ME, Therese Roy and husband Ron of Lewiston, ME, her brother Edwin Bazinet of Monmouth, ME, her aunt Florence G. Michaud of Falmouth, many nieces, nephews and cousins, her brothers and sister-in-law, Jim Nelson of Lewiston, ME Brenda Laperuta of Connecticut, Larry Nelson of Connecticut, Donald Nelson of Connecticut. She was also predeceased by her husband Edwin Coffren and her brother Alfred Bazinet.
