

Auburn- Eugenia M. Dixon 92, of Meadow Ln, Auburn, died Tuesday Oct. 21, at The Hospice House of Androscoggin Home Care & Hospice, with her loving family at her side. She was born in Skowhegan, ME on February 16, 1922 a daughter of the late Arthur and Mary (Provencal) Beaulieu. She graduated from Portland High School. Eugenia married her true love John L. Dixon in Feb. 1945, he predeceased her in June of 1999. She was a member of Sacred Heart Church, the Golden Age Club where she worked in the kitchen for over 20 years, Robin Dow and First Auburn Senior. She enjoyed spending time with family and being at the family camp on Sheepscot Lake. Eugenia is survived by two daughters, Charlene Dixon of Auburn, and Marie Samson of Auburn, three sons, Richard Dixon of Gray, Jon Sherman Dixon and his wife Elizabeth of Renton, WA and David Page of Windham, four grandchildren: Amanda Rodriguez of Auburn, John D. Samson of Auburn, Joey Dixon of Renton, WA and Elna Rochlin of Bellevue, WA, seven great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a sister Elise Libby and a brother Sherman Beaulieu. The family would like to send a very special thank you to the entire staff at The Hospice House for the excellent care given to Eugenia and her family during her last days. Visitation Fortin Auburn Sunday from 6-8 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, 11 AM at Sacred Heart Church. Committal will follow at St. Peter's Cemetery.
