

Auburn, ME – Florence M. (Fortier) Labrecque, 87, a longtime resident of Lewiston passed away on Tuesday, August 12, 2025 at Schooner Estates. She was the wife of the late Ronald L. J. Labrecque, who died on January 10, 1998.
Flo was born in Chisolm, ME on November 13, 1937, a daughter of the late Adelbert J. & Alice M. (Beaudette) Fortier. She grew up in Chisolm attending St. Rose of Lima Grammar School. At nineteen years old Flo joined the Convent, where she stayed until August of 1962 when she left before taking her final vows. She moved to Lewiston when she married Ronald in 1966.
She spent a few years teaching at the former St. Joseph’s Child Care in Auburn and in 1973 she started at General Electric in Auburn, retiring in 1997.
Flo enjoyed cooking and baking, toll painting, scrapbooking and playing card games. She also found pleasure in watching Bruins and Red Sox games and loved camping with her family.
She is survived by her four children Bruce M. Labrecque and his wife Mary Ellen of Turner, ME, Brian M. Labrecque of Lewiston, Victoria L. Rucker and her husband Tim of Lewiston and Melissa M. Emond and her husband Russell of Durham, ME, her eleven grandchildren Billy-Joe, Wayne, Megan (Theo), Haley, Shelby, Dylan, Madison, Courtney, Kyle, Serenity and Tabitha and her five great grandchildren Rosemary (Jenna), Juniper, Adaya, Adam and Jackson. She also leaves behind her three siblings Connie Pinette, Paul Fortier and Rose Levasseur, her former daughter-in-law Jeanine Labrecque and several nieces and nephews.
She was also the sister of the late Julie Bubier, Eloise Vachon, Roger Fortier, Romeo Fortier and Irene LaBranche.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation on Sunday, August 17, 2025, from 2 – 4 pm & 6 – 8 pm at The Fortin & Pinette Group, 217 Turner St, Auburn. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, August 18, 2025, at 11 am at Holy Family Church, 607 Sabattus St., Lewiston. Committal prayers and butterfly release will follow at St Peter’s Cemetery, Lewiston.
