Frank P Welch Sr.

Auburn- Frank P. (Budd) Welch, Sr. 87, died on May 21, 2024 at the Androscoggin Hospice House. Born to George and Della Welch, he attended Lewiston schools and received his GED while in the Air Force. He was stationed at Loring AFB in Limestone.

He is survived by his wife Dolores (Dolly) of 65 years; children, Sharon (Keith), Frank (Pamela), Janet (Louie); grandchildren, Kelly, Amanda, Amy (Bill), Adam (Sydney), Julia, Lindsey (Aubrey), and Frankie. Also, great-grandchildren, Logan, Elek, Keegan, Koen, Liam, Connor, Amelia, Declan, Ella, Evalynne, Gwen, ,and his brother, Millard (Mattie).

He was predeceased by his parents and three sisters and their husbands and several nephews and nieces.

A carpenter by trade.He retired from Hall & Knight after 25 years, "the best job I ever had".

A communicant of St. Patrick's Church and later Our Lady of the Rosary Church.

Family and friends are cordially invited to a Mass of Christian Burial on June 4, 2024, at 11:00 AM at Our Lady of the Rosary, 131 High St, Sabattus, ME 04280. A graveside committal will follow on June 11, 2024, at 1:00 PM at the Maine Veterans Cemetery, 143 Blue Star Ave, Augusta, ME 04330
