HEBRON- Geraldine (Geri) Roberts, born in Lille, Maine to Saul and Marie Parent, went to be with her Lord on February 19, 2021. She was educated in Auburn schools and graduated from Edward Little High School. She worked for many years at Pioneer Plastics where she met the love of her life and best friend, Edward Roberts. Geri and Ed were married 36 wonderful years.
She loved to be at the ocean with the sun on her face and the wind in her hair. She loved all animals, especially her beloved cats Marble and Pudgy. She loved her entire family with a fierceness like no other, and will be sadly missed by all who had the privilege of standing in her light. She was a member of Sacred Heart Parish and was a person of great faith.

Geri and her family were also my family when we all lived on Monjoy Hill in Portland during WWII. They were the greatest cousins you could ever want. Geri's smile and laughter was one of a kind. I can hear it now. My condolences to her family and may she be waiting for us with her laugh when we meet again. God Bless you Geri and may God look over your family. Ed and Geri were the best a family anyone could ever have. Aurevoir ma petite cousine.

It is with great sorrow I feel for the loss of one of my favorite aunts.
She had a contagious laugh and was so kind that she didn't even get mad when I almost burned down her house one day.
She will be sadly missed. My heartfelt condolences and prayers for all of you and your families.
Love,
Germaine

I wish to say to Ed and Geri’s family that my early days doing business at Pioneer was made brighter by my interaction with Geri. She was always very supportive and always had a kind word. Unfortunately my mother passed from the same affliction that takes a very bright and vibrant person and reduces them to a shadow of who they actually are and were. My only words of condolence come from my belief deep in my heart that my mom will be waiting for me when it is my time. And she will once again be Mom. Geri will be waiting for Ed and other family members and once again she will be “ Geri” for all eternity. Peace be with you all.

My heartfelt condolences to all of Geri's family. May all the great memories of your wife, mom, & mimi get you through the very hard times. Specifically to Kim: I have watched you go through this journey, knowing there was not much I could do but listen. And I am always ready to listen whenever you need to talk.

It is with great sorrow that I feel the loss of my best friend.
Gerri and I have been close friends since grades school (Walton Jr. High and Edward Little High School). We share many of life's experiences, friendship, marriage, children etc.
After moving to Texas 50+ years ago, we continued to stay in contact. Upon each return to Maine, we stayed at the "'Welcome Roberts Hotel".
Our thoughts and prayer are with the family.

We have lost a classy and compassionate soul.
I knew that when Geri and Ed got together that she would find the happiness that she was looking for to fill her heart.
My sympathy goes out to all of her family and friends. Her Faith carries her into the arms of the Father.
