

MINOT - Harold T. Nason, 84 of Garfield Road, Minot died Tuesday, Sept 16 at his home after a courageous battle with pulmonary fibrosis with his loving family by his side. He was born in Auburn, July 26, 1930 son of the late John and Gladys Parker Nason. He was educated in Auburn schools, graduating from Edward Little High School in 1949. He proudly served his country in the U. S Army during the Korean Conflict. Harold was employed for many years at Eastern Airlines in Florida but mostly in Boston as a ramp service attendant. Harold will be remembered as a kind-hearted person who loved everybody. He was a hard worker, having worked since the age of 12 and even after retirement he started his own mobile pressure washing business which he owned and operated for several years. He is survived by a daughter, Debra Nason of Minot; a son, Timothy Nason and his fiancée Debora Berry of Turner; four grandchildren, Aliyah, Ariel, Alexis and Jordan Gregory of Minot; a sister, Arlene Johnson of Poland; four brothers, John Nason and wife Charlene of Minot, Robert Nason of Auburn, Richard Nason of Minot and Donald Nason of Auburn; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his former wife, Geraldine Mahoney; a sister, Barbara Leighton; and a brother, Albert Nason. Visitation at Fortin/Auburn on Thursday from 6-8 PM. A funeral service will be held Friday at 11:00 AM at the funeral home followed by committal with military honors at Center Minot Hill Cemetery, Minot.
