

Jason was a loving husband, father, son, sibling and friend. He was affectionately known as J, Baby Huey or Bubba throughout the chapters of his life. He will be remembered for his larger than life personality, the ability to capture the attention of a whole room and his never ending optimism that things would always work out in the end.
Jason was born October 30, 1977 to Barbara and Richard Theriault at St. Mary’s Hospital in Lewiston. He played hockey throughout his school career and often reminisced about hockey camp in Canada or his amazing goal in the Lions Club Tournament. During his senior year he was nominated class president and participated in the We the People debate finals in Washington DC. He graduated from St. Dominic High School in Lewiston in 1996. He obtained his Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Science from the University of Rhode Island where he was a brother of the TKE fraternity. He completed his Master’s degree in Information Technology from the University of Phoenix and was working on a Master’s degree for Cyber Security at the University of Southern Maine.
Jason met his wife, Barbie, in 2004 after they were matched on the dating app eHarmony. It was love at first sight and they married April 22, 2006. They welcomed their first child, Alexander Gerard in May of 2007 followed by Amelia Beth in January of 2011. He was involved in the Scouts of America with both kids, wearing different hats as a den father, volunteer, treasurer and merit badge teacher. He was currently working at the Catherine Cutler Institute at USM as a Computer and Database Programmer.
He is survived by his wife, Barbie Theriault; children, Alexander and Amelia; parents, Richard and Barbara Theriault; sister, Christine Burke and husband, Arron; brother, Michael Theriault and wife Diane; neice, Allison Burke; nephews, Evan Burke, James Theriault, Andrew Theriault, Logan McGraw-Dube; mother-in-law, Patricia Titus; father-in-law, Bruce McGraw and wife June; brother-in-law, Brian McGraw and wife, Angela; sister-in-law, Brenda McGraw and partner, Patrick Wyman, many loving aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was predeceased by his grandparents Gerard and Annonciade Theriault and William and Marion Kennedy.
The family would also like to thank the wonderful, caring staff at Central Maine Medical Center and Andwell Hospice House for the exceptional care Jason received.

A Memorial Gathering will be held on Sunday, March 30, 2025 from 3-6 PM at The Fortin & Pinette Group 217 Turner Street in Auburn, 783-8545.
A Funeral Mass honoring Jason's life will be celebrated on Monday, March 31, 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Basilica of Sts. Peter & Paul (Upper Church). Committal services will then follow at St. Peter's Cemetery.
