Papa, I can't even tell you enough how much you changed our lives and made them better. With fishing, golf, hockey, and baseball. From watching Bruins games to North Woods Law, you always were amazing to us. We love you and will always have you in our hearts!

John Francis Campbell Jr ( Papa), was the most amazing person I have ever met. He has always been such an inspiration to me. Always telling me to go for my dreams and try my hardest. I will always remember all those fun times we had together, watching tv, fishing, going to Build-a-bear workshop. Where I made my favorite memory with him. Making my very first teddy bear. He helped me pick it out, stuff it, and pick out clothes. Then we headed home knowing I will always have my teddy bear. Who we named after me, Taylor bear. I can't tell you how much I will always love and miss Papa. But I know he will always be watching over me and protecting me. I love you Papa.

What a wonderful friend and neighbor that I came to know these past retirement years living in Bailey Island, Maine and Juno Beach, Florida. I first met John in Water Cove, Bailey Island as I was getting off my boat near his waterfront dock. That day was the start of a special friendship that unfortunately now will have lasted too few years. John will always remain special to my friends and my family.
From the first fishing trip together, golfing in Florida and Maine, and later in private talks together in his failing health, we shared often the best and his not so great moments. John will always remain with me in spirit and during his last chapter, I will often remember Big John with his will to challenge his unfortunate health issues with dignity and an unending humor. Suzy, his special dog just loved to lick off those bandages!!
John we all will miss you but not forgotten as we had the best of times that will be continued to be often fondly remembered with my friends and family.

I was most fortunate to have shared great memories with John during our years at Lewiston High School. We continued contact over the years sharing quality time with family and friends. His time in Florida and my time in California made connecting difficult. Gatherings with Dick Mynahan, Coyne Turcotte, Lou Biron, Bob 'Curley' Mower, Bill Beeaker, Mike Beaulieu, Joe Harkins, and John Campbell left great memories shared by friends. My sincere sympathy and prayers to Sue and Family.
