Karen Eileen Gagne

She was born in Farmington, Maine on December 12, 1946 the daughter of the late Calvin and Maxine (Wirta) Durrell and had been a resident of this community all of her life.

Karen graduated in the National Honor Society from high school in the Class of 1964. She went on to Nursing School in Lewiston and graduated as a Registered Nurse. Her career included working in the operating room and later in local nursing homes. The majority of her career was spent as a Mother, Wife, Grandmother and Chief Support Officer of her family's business, Ron Gagne General Contractor.

In her spare time, Karen enjoyed sewing, crocheting, gardening, canning and was an avid reader and most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family.

She is survived by her husband Ronald Gagne whom she married on November 8, 1969 of Auburn; her daughter Karla Diffin and her husband Roger of Minot; her son Kevin Gagne and his wife Tracy of Minot; her four grandchildren Alyssa and Emma Gagne and Lucy and Oscar Diffin all of Minot.

She was predeceased by her son Sean Gagne who died on May 3, 2023.
