Keith James Gunning

He was born in Chelsea, Massachusetts on March 10, 1948 the son of James and Freda (McGloan) Gunning.

In 195 he married Jo-Lynn Matson and raised their two sons Erik and Mark in Winslow, Maine.

Keith later married Kathie Records in 2012, and resided in Turner, Maine. He was employed in the Banking Industry for many years and retired from Bangor Savings Bank.

He enjoyed the Boston Bruins, (except when they lost). He was very proud of his three grandsons, who all played hockey. He also enjoyed watching his granddaughter, Makayla, at her gymnastic meets.

He was a member of the Turner Highlands Golf Course. He especially loved playing with his senior friends on Wednesdays, finishing the round at the 19th hole.

He is survived by his wife Kathie; sons Erik (Alexandra), Mark (Jaime), and grandchildren Makayla, Callen, Max and Grey. He also leaves behind his good friend Ed Skeffington, and his dog Charlie.

He is predeceased by his parents; his former wife, Jo-Lynn, and his dog Tyson.

At the request of the family there will not be any funeral services. A Celebration of Life will be held later in the Spring.
