Age 99. Born in New York City, lifelong resident of Auburn, ME, and for the last seven years Brighton, MA, passed away on Saturday, Sept 1, 2012. Husband of 71 years to his beloved Lilyan. Loving father of Stephanie Sher and her husband Ian of West Roxbury, Alan Wiener and his wife Nancy of Sharon and Ava Derman and her husband Steven of Marshfield. Beloved “Papa” to grandchildren Randi Simon and husband Doug, Jared Wiener and wife Jacqui, Amy Peterson and husband Rob, Joshua Derman and fiancée Amit Levran and Jeremy Derman and to great-grandchildren Ethan, Shayna, Sydney, Charlie, Alyssa and Alex. He was a Navy Seabee veteran of WWII and Past Master of Ancient Brothers Masonic Lodge of Auburn, ME.
