Born on March 5, 1968, at Central Maine Medical Center in Lewiston, Pam was the beloved wife of Randy Thomas, also of Minot, and a loving mother to Zack Short and his wife Donna (of Raymond). She was also a cherished grandmother to her two grandchildren, Calvin and Nora, who brought her immeasurable joy and provided the strength for her to keep fighting along her very difficult health journey.
Pam is survived by her mother, Murriel Berry, of Minot and her father, Steve Berry, of Turner. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends who were embraced by her warm, caring spirit.
Throughout her life, Pam was known for her unwavering devotion to her family and friends, her love for animals, her kind heart, and her ability to brighten the lives of those around her. Pam grew up an only child but had many close friends that she considered siblings. She also thought of Zack’s closest friends to be additional children, welcoming them into her heart and home as her own. She always had a special knack for making others feel welcome and valued, always offering a listening ear and a comforting presence.
A celebration of Pam’s life will be held privately at a date to be determined. For additional details, please reach out to Randy, Zack or Steve personally. In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to the Greater Androscoggin Humane Society, a special place where she got her beloved dogs Pennie and Boots.
Pam’s memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew her, and her love, laughter, and kindness will never be forgotten.
