

Augusta - Paul R. Cloutier 63, of Rideout Ave. Lewiston, died Thursday September 13, 2012, at Togus Hospice, surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Lewiston on December 1, 1948 a son of Fernand and Bernadette (Pomerleau) Cloutier. He was educated in local schools. Paul proudly served his country in the US Army during Vietnam, where he received a Bronze Star and Purple Heart. Paul was a very helpful guy always putting others first and willing to help anyone who needed a hand. He loved his parrot Lucky, and enjoyed collecting coins and stamps, but most of all loved spending time with family and friends. Paul was a life long member of the VFW Post 1603 of Minot Ave in Auburn. He leaves his mother Bernadette Cloutier of Lewiston, a daughter Pamela Cornish and her husband Chris of WA, two sons James Cloutier and his wife Jeannette of Lewiston and Paul Carr and his wife Danielle of Monmouth, two sisters Theresa Roy and husband Bob of Lewiston and Brenda Lavoie of Minot, two brothers Norman Cloutier of Danville and Rene Cloutier and his wife Lannette and their two children Tasha and Justin Cloutier of Turner, 9 grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
