She was the youngest child of Henri Longtin, Sr and Anne Marie Ruest Longtin. Pauline was born in Lewiston on May 15, 1936.
She was a loving, caring and giving individual, who particularly took wonderful care of her mother and father in their final years. She also helped her siblings with various things throughout the years. Rarely did we see Pauline without a big smile, and she never complained, even when we knew she was hurting. Pauline was a huge animal lover. Her pets meant the world to her, and it was clear to anyone who knew her.
Pauline worked a number of places, including Raytheon, Montello Manor and Bates College.
She was a hard worker with an impeccable work ethic.
She is survived by 18 nieces and nephews and many friends, especially her good friend, Marielle Rodrigue and family. She will be greatly missed.
Pauline was predeceased by her parents, her brothers, Roland, Henry, Jr, and Ted, her sister Aline, and a niece, Linda Hill.
The family would like to thank the wonderful staff at The Chapman House for the excellent care she received while she was there.
A Memorial Mass will be celebrated 1pm Friday, September 16 at the Holy Cross Church, 1080 Lisbon Street, Lewiston.
