Rita Hebert

1942-2022

Rita (Fisher) Hebert, 79 died at her home February 7th,2022 surrounded by her family after a courageous battle with dementia. She was born in Guerette, Maine on May 15th, 1942, the daughter of Yvonne and Hubald Fisher. She co-owned Hebert’s Vegetable stand with her husband Marcel. She enjoyed gardening and spending time with her grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband Marcel of 62 years, four daughters, Linda Tardif and her husband Mike of North Monmouth, Tina Day and her husband Wayne of Auburn, Lisa Marquis and her husband Mark of Lewiston and Brenda Nickerson of Bowdoinham, ten grandchildren; Trista, Alyssa, Brittnie, Andrew, Jessica, Thomas, Courtney, Amanda, Ashley and Samantha, 14 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her parents, Yvonne and Hubald, 5 sisters, Lydia Martin, Slyvia Bouchard, Alexina Rossignol, Lorina Violette, Viola Maheux and 3 brothers, Sylvio Fisher, Tony Fisher and Lorendo Fisher.

Her celebration of life will be on February 16th at The Fortin Funeral Home, 217 Turner St, Auburn Me.

Visiting hours will be from 9:00 to 11:00AM with liturgy of the word service at 11AM, followed by a committal at St. Peters Cemetery.
