A poem written by Ernest Ray in 1954, for his sweetheart Rita

Remember me my dear Misses remember me for my kisses

for the days that I would wait

for the evenings of our dates

the Eskimos would look at their dogs and say mush

but when I look at you all I do is blush

So remember me my dear Misses

Remember me for my kisses

Love, Ernie

So sorry to hear of Rita's passing. The fondest memories I have of her are of her and Papa at the rink. She would always greet me with a smile and a hug. She was a wonderful woman who raised a beautiful family that I am lucky to know. My thoughts are with you all. May Rita rest peacefully.

Our family was blessed to have known Rita & her beautiful family, when we discovered ABC CHILD CARE 34 years ago. I became close to her daughters and through the years, remained close to Tammy. Family meant everything to Rita & Ernie. Their love & devotion to Derek, after Tina's passing, was something that always remained in my heart. My deepest sympathies to Ernie, Tammy, and Tracey...as well as their entire family. The loss of someone as loving and amazing as Rita is profound & will be felt for years to come. May the beautiful memories all of you shared together bring a smile to your face, and help you get through this difficult time. We are keeping you in our thoughts and prayers. Our deepest sympathies, Charlene & the LeClair family

I'm sorry to hear about your loss. John 5:29 says: "Do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out." While words fail to capture the pain of losing a loved one, we look forward to the time when words will fail to capture the joy of having God return your dear one to you.

Such a beautiful soul we are so happy we were able to spend time with our aunt Rita recently. She always had her arms opened to everyone and had so much love in her. When she talked about her family, grandkids and great-grandkids there was so much tender love and she was so proud of all of them!!!! Rest In Peace dear lady you made the world a better place probably more than you ever knew. We Love You❤️❤️❤️

Rita, you were always so sincere and authentic whenever we spent time together. Your laughter was contagious. Your love for your family so obvious. I am grateful you introduced me to your loving family. Especially to your beautiful daughter, Tammy, with whom I have been blessed to call my friend for these past 30 years regardless of how far apart we live. You will always be loved and missed dearly.
