

AUBURN: Theresa Saucier, 91, a resident of Clover Living Center went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday October 19 at The Hospice House surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Fort Kent on March 13, 1922 a daughter of the late Maxim and Phoebee (Dumont) Bouchard. She married Ivan Saucier on July 5, 1939. Together they raised sixteen beautiful children. She was a member of the Pathway Vineyard Church in Lewiston. Along with raising her family, she worked in local shoe factories and in her later years she devoted her time to the foster-grandparent program for 18 years. Theresa always put others needs before her own. She was a caregiver for her father and mother while still raising her family. She lovingly took care of her daughter Linda through her illness and also went to Florida to care for her ailing brother Alva. She loved family gatherings and cooking for her family, enjoyed crocheting and reading the Bible. She will be sadly missed by her loving family as well as many close friends. Her kind, caring and generous spirit will be remembered by everyone who had the pleasure of knowing her. She is survived by her five sons, Ronald and his wife Linda of Florida, Robert and his companion Debra Sands of Lewiston, Richard and his wife Annette of Greene, Ryan and his wife Pat of Poland and Randy of Auburn; ten daughters, Carol Grimmel and her husband Paul of Greene, Beatrice Davis and her husband Jim of Indiana, Patricia Saucier of Lewiston, Stella Campbell and her husband Jim of Florida, Shirley Furthmiller and her husband Gale of Florida, Jean Stone of Lewiston, Donna Donahue and her companion Clem Poulin of Auburn, Terri and her companion Vel Lussier of Lewiston, Yvette Deprey and her husband Dick of Turner and Joanne Conner and her husband Herbie of Florida. She also leaves behind 33 grandchildren, 42 great-grandchildren, 13 great-great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her husband Ivan, her daughter, Linda, her brothers Joseph, Reginald, Henry, Ronaldo, Alphonse and Alva, and her sisters Stella, Marie and Martha. The family wishes to express their thanks to the physicians, the staff at Clover Living Center and the Hospice House and a special thank you to Angie Saucier for the wonderful care given to their mother.
