Wesley was born in Lewiston, a son of the late Stanley C. & Gladys M. (Scott) Ames. He grew up in Lewiston attending local area schools and graduated from Lewiston High School.
Wes spent most of his career as a manager in the shoe department of Bradley’s in Lewiston until his retirement.
He is survived by his son Raymond Ames of South Carolina. He also leaves behind a sister-in-law Francoise Martin of Lewiston and nephew’s Shawn & Chris Ames.
A graveside service at Gracelawn Memorial Park, Auburn will be held privately.
