My prayers to all the Hird family.  Bill was always kind to me.  I have thought of him often since Ann passed away in 1994.  I hope and pray that Bill left this place and suffered no pain.

I only had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Hird a couple of times, but I have meet most of his kids and grandkids over the years. He must have been a great Dad and showed them the right things because they are all kind,  hard working and generous folks.  I had the pleasure of working for Darcy years ago, and I see some of the family at the Chick a dee, which we always enjoy.  
May all his family find strength in this difficult time. 
I'm glad that all the family was around at this time of sorrow.

To family of Bill and Marge. Take  comfort in knowing so my hearts are with you..  I'm so sorry for your loss!   It was a pleasure helping  care for Marge in there home.  Bill always greeted me with a smile on his face.  Beautiful stories told each time I visited.  Bill owes me a game of pichnut. Sincere condolences to the family of Bill Hird.
I first met Bill as a customer of his at the Turner location and then really got to know him better thru the bank. We always enjoyed going to the restaurant as we knew Bill would be front and center chatting it up when he could. Today, his memory continues through his family and the Chick-a-Dee restaurant that has a long and proud reputation for great food and service.

So sad to hear of the passing of your father. What a guy! The Levesques have stayed in touch with him throughout the years, he was a great friend to dad, especially after they both lost their wives. Fun times were had on Labor Day at TPYC with Bill and Marguerite  these past few years.
Thinking of him and you all brings back sweet memories of "the neighborhood" back in the day ;) and Linda - those EL years :-)

Our hearts are broken to hear of Bill’s passing.  Lou and Bill enjoyed many golf matches together and shared many laughs.
