

He went to Windham Christian Academy and graduated from Windham High School in Windham, ME.
He was predeceased by his mother Herta Liese.
He is survived by his father Wolfgang Liese of Naples, FL, his brother Eric Liese of Morgantown, WV, his brother Mark Liese and his wife Cheryl Liese of New Gloucester.
Bill touched a lot of lives. He had a kind heart and a gentle spirit. He was hard working and never hesitated to help others. He loved watching sports, a huge Celtics and Patriots fan. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, hanging out with his friends and going on an annual hike at Tumbledown in Weld with them. Bill also loved watching fight sports including boxing, kick boxing, karate, WWE, UFC, and MMA. He took karate when he was younger. Bill also was a rock collector, he had some unique stones and geodes including some fossils and a rock from space. Following in his father's footsteps he was an optician working at Classic Eyewear in Portland, and later at Associated Eye Care in Sanford. He also did some painting for Advanced Painting of New Gloucester and East Coast Painting of Portland.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made in his name to Walk a Mile In Their Shoes Maine or Milestone Recovery Portland Maine.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, May 16, 2025 at 5:00 PM at the Amvets Hall at 1095 Lewiston Road in New Gloucester, Maine. There will be a private burial earlier that day.
