Brady Lawrence Weum passed away on March 17th, 2026, at his residence in Austin, Texas, at the age of 65. Brady was born in Anchorage, Alaska, on December 26th, 1960, to his mother, Helen Mae Weum, and his father, Robert Earl Weum. He was raised in Houston, Texas, along with his three brothers, Brad Weum, Brock Weum, and Barry Weum. Brady spent most of his young adulthood in Hawaii before settling down in Austin, Texas.
Brady was a beloved son, brother, and father known to his family and friends for his unbridled charisma, passion for the beach and surfing, and for his deep love for his children. Brady is survived by his two children, Robert Dylan Weum and Skylar Lucille Weum, the mother of his children, Marybeth Lisa Shields, and his brother, Barry Weum. He is further survived by the deep legacy of friendships and memories he had imparted throughout his life. Anyone who knew him knew him as a great man of unmatched character, strength, and spirit. He will be deeply mourned and his absence never filled, but he will be forever loved.
