He graduated from Moon Area High School in Moon Township, Pennsylvania.
Jason was preceded in death by his father, John B. Wood; brother, Glenn Wood; maternal grandparents, Clarence E. and Sarah K. Kiskadden; and his paternal grandparents, Joseph William Wood, Jr. and Erma R. Wood.
He is survived by his mother, Mary Lou Wood; children, Kirsten S. Wood, Brendan M. Beale, Jacqlyn A. Wood, and Drake C. Neale; sister, Rhonda Parker; and brother, Joe Wood.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Thursday, February 7, 2013 at Cook-Walden/Forest Oaks Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, February 8, 2013 in the Chapel of Cook-Walden/Forest Oaks Funeral Home with Reverend Laura Smith Adam of Manchaca United Methodist Church to officiate. Interment will follow at Cook-Walden/Forest Oaks Memorial Park.
Honoring Jason as pallbearers will be Richard Kiskadden, Corey Howe, Gary Adam, Trent Howe, Sean Howe, and Gary Howe.
