She was born on November 23, 1940, in Beach, North Dakota, to parents, Miles Arthur Barclay and Genevieve Efta Barclay and was raised on a farm in Wibaux, Montana. After growing up in rural Montana, she moved to Laurel, Montana and graduated from Laurel High School. She then attended Billings Business College and received an accounting degree. She started working in the accounting/tax field in 1962. She started her own business in 1978, in Portland, Texas, and continued working with her clients until 2014. She was an enrolled agent and very active in the National Association of Tax Preparers while serving as a board member of the state organization and was a dedicated and devoted tax preparer for 52 years.
She is survived by her loving husband of 53 years, Ingle Charles Trimble, Jr.; her children, Barclay Trimble and wife, Lana, Christi McGraw and husband, Ben, and Craig Trimble; grandchildren, Evyn McGraw, Luke McGraw, Daniel McGraw, Alyssa Trimble, Megan Trimble, Lauren Trimble, Julia Trimble, Cheyanne Trimble, and Bryce Trimble; mother, Genevieve Turcotte; brothers, John Barclay and wife, Kathleen and Patrick Barclay and wife, Sharon; sisters, Mary Duncan and husband, Richard, Margaret Barclay, Marcella Wilson and husband, Keith, and Michele Kinsfater and husband, Bruce; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and a host of friends. She was well loved by all.
The family will receive friends from 12:00 P.M. to 1:00 P.M., Saturday, December 3, 2016, at Cook-Walden/Forest Oaks Funeral Home. The family will honor Kateri with a Celebration of Life Service in the Chapel of Cook-Walden/Forest Oaks Funeral Home with Pastor Ben McGraw officiating. Kateri will be laid to rest at Forest Park The Woodlands Cemetery Mausoleum at The Woodlands, Texas.
