Margaret enjoyed decorating her home with the essence of each season and holiday. She also loved cutting flowers to bring inside, African drumming with her daughter Linda, shopping, bowling, dancing, and going on walks. Margaret also spent some time traveling to many foreign places.
Mama loved laughing. When you were in her home, she extended a place of comfort and beauty. She was there for you; when one entered her world, you knew she had your undivided attention. She was a gifted listener. Margaret loved candles to light and lots of jewelry, clothes, shoes, and most importantly, coffee.
Some of her proudest moments were caring and being around her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. As well as her sisters and all of her extended family. Margaret was part of the Unity organization and a member of the Shepherd of the Hills Church.
To Maci, Nicolette, Georgia and Devin, and Rose, who gave extended love and care to mama. Thank you so much. As well as wonderful neighbors, sisters that she was with every week, phone calls, and drop-ins from family, Suzanne & Chovie.
Margaret is preceded in death by her first husband Guy Robinson; second husband, Don Hayes, her daughter, Nancy and her parents. She is survived by her daughters Linda Hayes (Greg) of Fredericksburg, TX, and Mary of Austin, TX. As well as her sisters Helen Turentiene of Austin, TX and Jane (Charles) Staton of Austin, TX
