Alma was a radiant presence in this world and emitted happiness, positivity, love, kindness, generosity, and beauty. Her generous spirit and unwavering kindness touched countless lives, from close friends to passing strangers. Her personality was like a warm hug, and she made others feel seen and valued at every opportunity. Alma’s positive energy was unforgettable, and she will be deeply missed by friends, family, and her community.
Alma dedicated 19 years of her life working for the Kern High School District. At the time of her passing, she was a cherished staff member at Highland High School. Her commitment to education and her school community left a lasting impression on students and colleagues alike. Alma embraced the school’s spirit wholeheartedly – “Once a Scot- always a Scot.”
Alma leaves behind her loving parents Eva & Cipriano Preciado; brothers Cipriano, Oscar, and David; and sisters Marilu, Cindy, and Lupita. She was preceded in death by her younger brother, Jose, who now has his older sister by his side.
