Beverly grew up with Christian faith and was an athletic swimmer from elementary through high school. She dedicated 40 years of her life to the retail industry, working at Mervyn's for 32 years before transferring to Kohl's department store for another 8 years. She was known for being a very hard worker, sweet, and kindhearted.
Beverly had a passion for collecting pig figurines and crosses. She enjoyed looking at model houses for home renovation ideas and was fond of country music. Cooking was another of her beloved pastimes.
Beverly leaves behind her brothers, William and Wayne Veillette, her child Christopher Peterson, grandchildren Christopher Peterson II, Kaydence Peterson, Cheyanne Peterson, Mason Peterson, and Zachary Northern, and great-grandchildren Ajay Bentrott and Jestin Lawson. She was preceded in death by her mother, Joan Veillette, and father, Paul Veillette.
A graveside service will be held at Hillcrest Memorial Park, located at 9101 Kern Canyon Road, Bakersfield, CA 93306, on January 9, 2026, from 2:00 pm to 2:45 pm.
