Brian was born in Inglewood, CA to James and Dorothy Ramsey. He grew up in La Puente, CA and proudly served his country in the United States Air Force. He was an electrician for over 30 years which might explain his magnetic personality. Brian spent his last 10 years here in Bakersfield. He was a devoted family man who always put others before himself. He loved to read, cook and was an avid sports fan. His laugh was infectious, and his spirit unforgettable. Brian is survived by his wife of 47 years, Lou Lou; children David (Denise) Ramsey of Gualala, CA and Debra Eaton of Bakersfield, CA; grandchildren Ron (Callie), Alex (Kristin), Ashley, Joshua (Brooke), Ryan, Adam and Megan; great-grandchildren Addison, Silas, Heagan and Jaxson; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends; and 2 very dear friends Leon Buster and Terry Burnett. We will all dearly miss his laugh, special twinkle in his eyes, great sense of humor and wonderful knowledge. In memory of Brian, no suits, ties, or fancy attire is necessary. Memorial service and dinner will be held Saturday April 28th at 4 pm at Hillcrest Chapel.
