Carol Jean Owens was born November 19, 1942 in Hominy, Oklahoma to Edna Athalee and John Henry Jordan. Carol moved to Shafter, California as a little girl where she met the love of her life, John Paul Owens. They were married in April of f1960 and they then moved to Fresno where Randy was born. Later they moved to Earlimart where Doug was born. They later moved back to Shafter where Sharol was born.
Carol is preceded in death by both her parents, Henry Jordan and Edna Jordan. Her two sisters, Faye Hopper, (Terry Hopper) and Mary Dixon. Her husband John Paul Owens she is survived by her three children and their spouses, Randall Dean Owens, John Douglas Owens, (Linda Owens), Sharol Denise Rous Stevenson, (Larry Stevenson).. she is also survived by Ten Grandchildren and three Great grandchildren and one on the way.
Services will be held on Saturday, September 21, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Parkside Church, 2515 Church Ave, Bakersfield, CA 93306. Followed by a graveside service at Greenlawn N.E. Please join our family for a luncheon back at Parkside Church immediately following services.
