Carra Lee McGhee, 92, was born September 27, 1933, in Oklahoma, and passed away September 14, 2026. A longtime resident of Bakersfield, California, Carra will be remembered with deep respect and enduring love.

Carra was a hard-working woman who served as a Cafeteria Manager, bringing diligence and care to the work she did each day. She approached her responsibilities with faithfulness and integrity, earning the trust of those around her through consistency, warmth, and a sincere desire to serve.
Her personal joys reflected the same tenderness she showed in life. Carra found comfort and purpose in crocheting, and her enduring faith was evident in her love for church and bible study—places where her gentle spirit and devoted heart were at home.
Carra Lee was preceded in death by her husband, Murray McGhee. She is survived by her daughter, Jeanette Townsend; her son, Terry McGhee; her grandsons, John Townsend and Terry Jr. McGhee; her granddaughter, Bridgette Seguine; her great grandsons, Rider Seguine and Collin Townsend; her great granddaughter, Takia Duncan; and her great great granddaughter, Wren Duncan.
