Christine “Chrissy” Williams
1983 – 2025
Christine Williams, lovingly known as Chrissy, passed away on August 16, 2025, in Bakersfield, California, at the age of 42.
Born in Los Angeles, California, Chrissy spent her childhood there before moving to Bakersfield, where she built her life and created countless cherished memories.
Chrissy had a deep love for God and faithfully attended church throughout her life. She was known for her radiant spirit, generosity, and loyalty. She loved the beach, spending time with family and friends, and bringing joy wherever she went. There was never a dull moment with Chrissy—she had a gift for finding light in every situation and encouraging others to see the best in themselves.
She graduated with an Associate’s Degree and built a successful career in real estate. Beyond her professional accomplishments, Chrissy will be remembered most for her strength, resilience, and unwavering love for her family. She overcame many challenges in her life, always with courage and determination.
Chrissy is survived by her beloved son, Elijah Recio, and her cherished grandchildren, Luka and Camila. She was a devoted mother and grandmother whose love and guidance will continue to live on through them.
Her final resting place is at Hillcrest Memorial in Bakersfield, California. Chrissy was deeply loved and will never be forgotten. She leaves behind a legacy of kindness, joy, and faith—a light that will continue to shine in the hearts of all who knew her.
A visitation for Christine will be held Monday, September 8, 2025 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at The Collective by Madison Design & Interiors, 931 19th St, Bakersfield, CA 93301.
Her funeral service will occur Tuesday, September 9, 2025 at 9:00 AM, at The Collective by Madison Design & Interiors 931 19th St, Bakersfield, CA 93301. With graveside service to follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park, 9101 Kern Canyon Road, Bakersfield, CA 93306. She will be laid to rest in Garden of Serenity.
