Claudine Casarez Garcia-Burks was born in Texas in 2/20/1939 to Jose Guzman Casarez Sr, and Gertrudiz Rodriguez Solis Casarez. She went to be with Jesus on August 9, 2023 at 84 years old. She is with her daughter’s (Dina, and Trudie), her son’s (Ezekiel, Philip, and Richard), and her GG-daughter, (Azalea). She leaves behind her husband Barry Burks, son and daughters Ruben, Lollie, and Francee Garcia and her grandchildren.
My mother had many titles; girl scout leader, boy scout leader, children ministry leader, softball coach, Spanish teacher, a teacher aide for special needs children. She enjoyed helping others and her sons in the Special Olympics, bowling, floor hockey and swimming. She loved to ride horses, and was in marching band.
Our mother loved her church. She walked into these doors and now she leaves these doors for the last time. But entering the pearly gates while her children greet her.
