It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Daniel Ante Chavez, a devoted husband, loving father, and proud U.S. Army veteran, who passed away peacefully on May 31, 2025, at the age of 81.
Born in Texas, in 1943, Daniel lived a life marked by strength, integrity, and love. He answered the call to serve his country in the United States Army, where he served with honor and distinction. During his time in the military, Daniel built lifelong bonds with his fellow soldiers and earned the respect of all who served alongside him. His time in uniform reflected his deep sense of duty, courage, and unwavering commitment to protecting others.
Daniel will be remembered not only for his service, but for the way he lived every day—with quiet strength, humility, and a deep love for his family.
He is survived by his loving wife Loida Neomi Chavez, his children, and many extended family members and friends who will forever cherish his memory.
