Our beloved Husband, Dad, and Grandpa (Papa) spread his wings to heaven on January 21, 2022.
Danny was an independent, strong, and resourceful person. He loved his family and loved to laugh. He could make you laugh even when you were mad at him. He enjoyed social outings and never knew a stranger. Anyone who truly knew him, knew he had a big heart. He loved fiercely and deeply and we take comfort in knowing he is now at peace surrounded by light.
He is survived by his wife, Maria Herrera, and his three children, Gina Billson, Christopher Herrera, and Christy Hinojosa, his son in laws, Jason Billson and Abraham Hinojosa, his grandchildren, Janeah Herrera, Jaden Herrera, Owen Billson, Jordan Herrera, Ani Billson, and Joey Hinojosa and his brother, Ricky Herrera.
Preceding him in death was his father, Isaac Herrera, his mother, Geraldine Herrera, brother, Mark Herrera, and sister, Laura Delgado.

Services will be held February 18, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. at Hillcrest Memorial Park at 9101 Kern Canyon Road, Bakersfield, CA 93306.
