Doris Clarice Burgess

Doris was born in Knoxville, Tennessee on February 3rd, 1942 to the parents of Clarence and Dorothy Webb. The Webb family moved to California in 1948 where she lived the remainder of her life. She attended and graduated North High School where she was voted best dancer in her senior class of 1959. She married and had three beautiful children: Michelle, Debbie, and Jeff. Aside from being a wonderful mother, she worked at the telephone company, almond plant, and as a waitress for over 40 years where she made lifelong friends. Doris enjoyed traveling, going to the movies, and having lunch with the girls from the North High Stars of 1959. Above all, she cherished the time she spent with her family during the holidays, playing Bunco, having barbeques, etc.

She was preceded in death by her parents Clarence and Dorothy Webb, sister Linda Webb, brother William Webb, son Jeff Burgess, and granddaughter Alexis Burgess. She is survived by brother Rick Webb, two daughters and son-in laws: Michelle and Kevin, and Debbie and Steve. Grandchildren Michael (Kandea), Chris (Kim), Tiffani, Chandler, and Kaitlyn. Great-grandchildren Zack, Ava, Olivia, Max, Emilia, and baby Lucas.

Doris, Sis, Mom, Grandmother, Great-grandmother and friend will be deeply missed - she will be forever loved and forever in our hearts.
