My sincere sympathy and condolences to the Bennett family.  Steve was quite a guy! I knew his dad Les. Les would come into the autoparts store back in the day. Before Les passed away I met Steve.  Over the years our paths touched...even after all of those years...Steve would seek me out for autoparts.  He just called me two weeks ago for a small block chevy engine part. Steve taught me how to drive mini stocks at Peirsonville. I just love the day he kicked me off the track because he found out I was pregnant with Terilee. We used fuel so he exiled me to the spectator stands. He knew I was pissed off but he wasn't having any part of me in the pits. I miss u Bennett, I know u are winning every race you enter there.

So sad to lose such a great bright light and happy soul, but, you have a great family and will always be remembered... Your life lives on through Michael and his sons...  Rest now, no more prodding, and being poked.  We will see you on the other  side in Heaven...
