Elizabeth Christine Mendoza

Elizabeth Christine Mendoza was granted her angel wings on November 11, 2023. She was raised by her mother Elvia Enriquez and her father Ruven Hernandez. She spent her final days surrounded by family and friends. Liz is survived by her husband Johnny, Children Junior, and Melina Mendoza & and grandchildren, Jaeclyn, Maddilyn, and Sebastian. Liz loved spending time with her family, especially the grandkids. She loved going to church, volunteering at VBF, shopping, and traveling. Liz was an educator with BCSD for many years. When Liz was not in the classroom, she was spreading the word of god. Her goal was to impact and serve her community. If you had the honor to meet Liz, you knew she put her heart into everything she did. Her soul was as big and beautiful as her smile. She will be missed dearly.

A visitation for Elizabeth will be held Monday, November 20, 2023 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Funeraria Del Angel Hillcrest, 9101 Kern Canyon Road, Bakersfield, CA 93306.

Funeral service will occur Tuesday, November 21, 2023 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM, 9101 Kern Canyon Road, Bakersfield, CA 93306. Her graveside will follow at 2:00 PM , 9101 Kern Canyon Road, Bakersfield, CA 93306.
