Ellyn was born in La Porte Indiana to Patricia Parker & Owen Parker. Ellyn was the oldest of 5 siblings.
In 1971 she met the man she would Spend the next 39 years with, Bobby Nobles & together they raised 5 children. Frequently moving for Bob’s work, they relied heavily on love, faith, and hope to get through anything. In 1986 the family moved to Bakersfield, Where they lived together until Bob’s death in 2010. Through thick and thin they always were by each others side.
Ellyn spent the last 11 years of her life working for the county at The Department of human services, a job she truly loved before retiring in 2017. She started her services in Taft office as an HST I, and finished her career in Bakersfield as an HST III in the CAT unit.
Ellyn left a lasting impression on anyone lucky enough to meet her. She was always happy and inviting, all who met her felt welcomed and loved. A devoted wife, mother, sister, grandmother and a friend. Ellyn touched every soul she met. She will be loved, remembered and dearly missed. She very much enjoyed family gatherings & vacations.
Ellyn is survived by her mother Patricia Parker of CA, her siblings, Jerry & his wife Patty Parker of IND, Carole Snyder & husband Scott of IND, Cheri Parker & Scott of CA & Denise Souza of CA.
There were 5 children that blessed their marriage. Jacquelynn Newman (Willie) of KY, John Nobles of TX, Keith (U.S. Navy) & wife Beatrice Nobles of TN, Walter & wife Jennifer Nobles of Bakersfield, CA & Katherine Nobles of Bakersfield, CA.
Her Grandchildren, Crystal Gillingham of KY, Shari Newman of KY, Teddy Newman of KY, Julie Dowell Evans of KY,
Roman Nobles of TX, Hunter Nobles of TX, Austin Nobles, Elisabeth Nobles, Bobby Nobles II & Gracie Nobles of Bakersfield, CA. Ellyn has 14 great grandchildren
