

Emajean was born May 16, 1942, in Moss County, Tennessee, and moved with her family to Arvin, California where she grew up and attended Arvin High School. Shortly after high school, Emajean married her high school sweetheart, Quintin (Dick) Rohrbach, and moved to Bakersfield in 1962 where they started their new life together and had two sons, Scott and Toby. Emajean enjoyed traveling with her family to Lake Tahoe for summer lake adventures and wintertime snow skiing. She also enjoyed watching her boys ride motorcycles and playing sports.
Sadly in 1976, her husband Dick passed away and later Emajean worked as an escrow assistant for many years where she met many great people and longtime friends. In 1978, Emajean met Don Mushaney where they both worked at Century Title. After 7 years working together and dating, they married in 1985 and enjoyed a wonderful life and many adventures. Emajean and Don loved to take weekend getaways and spend time with family and lifelong friends.
Emajean was blessed with five grandchildren and loved spending time with each one. Emajean's sweet and gentle soul will be deeply missed.
Emajean is survived by her husband Don Mushaney, son Scott (Lori Rohrbach), son Toby (Polly Rohrbach), son Todd (Suzanne Mushaney), daughter Melanie Mushaney-Wilkes (Mike Wilkes), sister Gerrie Swank, grandchildren Quinn, Grace, Jackson, Page, Isabella and several nephews and nieces.
Emajean was predeceased by her parents Ancil and Ada Eads, first husband Dick Rohrbach, sister-in-law Bev Stevens and life long friend Alice Eastland.
Graveside services will be at Hillcrest Memorial Park, 9101 Kern Canyon Road, Bakersfield, California, 93306 on May 7th, 2025 at 10:00 a.m.
