Epifania E. Garcia

April 30, 1930 - June 20, 2021

Epifania “Fannie” Garcia, 91 entered the gates of heaven on June 20.

She was born April 7, 1930 in Shiner, TX, daughter of Pablo and Rumalda Espinosa. The Garcia family migrated from Texas to California. She came from a family of 6 sisters and two brothers, one which is her twin sister. She met the love of her life Felix Garcia in Hanford, Ca. To which they were married November 16, 1947. They had 3 beautiful children. Her favorite pastime was dancing. Anywhere there was music she would always be the first to the dance floor and the last to leave the party. Those who knew her would call her grandma dynamite as there was always an explosion of festivities where ever she went.

She is survived by her 3 children, Felix “Felipe” Garcia, Adelina “Nena” Chagollan, and Mary Terrazas, 1 sister Carmen Gutierrez, 1 brother Severo “Sam” Espinosa, 9 grandchildren Abel and Verenice Alvarez, Sonia Chagollan, Anthony Flores, Jesse and Jessica Chagollan, Nanette Chavez, Adrain Flores, Jaime and Jessica Flores, Mikayla Terrazas, and Stephen Terrazas, 15 Great grandchildren Abel Alvarez Jr, Louie and Gloria Gonzalez, Joseph Alvarez, Alexis Gonzalez, Katrina Chagollan, Tristan Reyes, Tiffany Reyes, Jesus Chagollan, Audrey Flores, Adrianna Baker, Gigi Baker, Roman Alvarez, Alannah Chavez-Pacay, Genesis Torres Chavez, and 2 great great grandchildren Andre Gonzalez and Mia Gonzalez.

A visitation for Epifania will be held Wednesday, June 30, 2021 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Hillcrest Memorial Park Chapel, 9101 Kern Canyon Road, in Bakersfield, California. Funeral Mass will occur Thursday, July 1, 2021 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church, 601 E. California Ave., in Bakersfield, California. A graveside service will occur following Mass at Hillcrest Memorial Park.
