Fred has lived in Bakersfield for over 50 yrs. Fred was enlisted in the Navy during World War 2. He was a long time member of the Eagles and is a past president.
Fred is survived by daughter Sandy and husband Art Stiefes; daughter Judy and husband Dennis Carpenter; son Richard and wife Donnie Maurer. Grandchildren Christina Howell, Shelley Howell, Dustin Carpenter, Jeremy and wife Tasha Carpenter, Jimmy Allen Beck. Great Grandchildren Meagan Gordon, Christi Lightner, Jared Carpenter, Jimmy Allen Beck Jr. Brother Robert and wife Martha Maurer.
Graveside services will be held Thursday January 9, 2014 at 10:00 AM.
