Garnett Miller Summy Jr., son of Garnett Miller Summy Sr. and Nida Ella Olive, was born in Bakersfield, CA on October 14, 1929 and passed away on November 2, 2022 at the age of 93.

A funeral service for Garnett will be held Friday, December 2, 2022 at 1:00 PM at Hillcrest Memorial Park and Mortuary, 9101 Kern Canyon Road, Bakersfield, CA 93306, followed by a graveside service at 2:00 PM.

Serving as pallbearers are Jason Popejoy, Jeremy Popejoy, Jake Popejoy, Scott O'Bannon, Kyle Popejoy and Ryan O'Bannon.
